Revolution Mill Greensboro Wedding: Catherine & Matthew
Catherine & Matthew first met in second grade and began dating in sophomore year of high school, when they were in the same chemistry class. These high school sweethearts celebrated tying the knot 9 years later in 2022 at Revolution Mill Events in Greensboro, NC! Their beautiful reception was not only wonderfully executed from decor to service, but also full of unique personalized moments that made all of their special guests feel included in their day!
“Our wedding day was a perfect celebration with friends and family! Everyone had an amazing time from the beginning of our off-site chapel ceremony to the end of our Revolution Mill reception with dinner and dancing the night away. I loved using a cookbook as our guest book! My husband and I are working on trying as many of the recipes as we can during our first year of marriage, and we love reading the notes left to us from our guests along the way.”
The Venue & The Reception
With a simply elegant design, the reception took place in The Colonnade and utilized the outdoor courtyard for cocktail hour, where guests were able to mingle under the market lights, all while enjoying the beautiful summer day amongst the greenery and new fountain area! The Courtyard also provided perfect photo opportunities throughout the evening for guests and the wedding party. During the reception, guests were treated to a delicious meal prepared by our in-house Pepper Moon Catering team.

The Menu
One of the featured items during Cocktail Hour was our Pulled Pork Tacos, which were a big hit with the Bride as she wrote: “The pulled pork tacos were a delicious hors d'oeuvres!”
As Dinner was served, guests enjoyed Pepper Moon Catering’s Tossed Garden Salad, Roast Beef with Carmelized Onions, Grilled Chicken Breast with Sundried Tomato Cream Sauce, Smashed Potatoes, and Fresh Green Beans.
When asked what was their favorite aspect of their reception Catherine wrote: “The convenience of a beautiful space, great catering, and professional staff all in one place was my favorite aspect of working with Revolution Mill.”
